Have you been pricing ammunition lately?
I have. 7.62 by 39 ( AK 47 and SKS ammo) that I bought last year ( less than 12 months ago) cost me 4.00 per box Now everyone one want at least 5 if you buy a huge amount and most folks that I spoke with on a few boxes here and there at at least 6$. That is for 20 rounds, NON re loadable.
The price of lead is up, copper is up, gunpowder is up…. So is food.
One thing that I praying about is being able to put together group “buys’ so that we can order Ammunition by the case and save money. Call me and let me know if you are interested and what you are interested in.
I hope you were not scared off by the fall in silver and gold last week… if you were and sold off you lost a bunch of trading power. The fundamentals have not changed the economy is toast and the dollar is a cake not turned. All the gurus last week and the week before going on about the strong dollar and the gaining dollar, and that goof on Kitco that does their main commentary who more or less tries to discourage folks from Gold and Silver were dead wrong AGAIN. The Stock market that they thought was rebounding was simply coming up for air before taking a dive.
Silver up to over 17.59 and Gold at 931 would be a great thing to trade/barter today if you bought it last week when it was 860 and 16.50. Anyway….
How are you doing with your pantry? Have you been setting aside food staples?
The floods in the FOOD BELT are going to drive up prices even more and lets not forget all those hungry China folks who are competing for your corn and wheat and rice.
My Tomato plats are still producing and are over 6 feet tall… NO PESTICIDES
My Lima beans are starting to be ready and I am eating a few everyday raw…
Even the few PEA plants that I have are producing now….
lets not forget the blue lake pole beans and the butter beans.. no beans yet but huge vines…
Rutabagas and Peanuts also..Not ready yet…
and OKRA the plants are about 3 and a half feet tall and starting to flower…
I spend about 30 minutes a day EVERYDAY picking and killing different worms so I will not have to use pesticides…
I Use grass Clippings that have been composting as a mulch…

Do you need survival supplies? We will be having a few folks come ( all may) that will have various surplus “stuffs’ from y2k stashes.
Do you need to buy a self protection device? Used/NEW? there will be an FFL dealer who can help you out. ( He can not sell certain things at the meeting however you can talk to him and order stuff, There will also be folks who have “collections” that they may wish to trade or barter or sell. Feel free to bring stuff ( lawful stuff) if you wish to possibly trade etc.
